The 麻豆传媒入口 (SICI) is delighted to announce the Call for Applications for the Shastri Scholar Travel Subsidy Grants (SSTSG) 2024-25. This program aims to enhance institutional and scholarly linkages between SICI's Canadian and Indian Member Institutions.
SICI launched its first bi-national thematic cluster on 鈥楢griculture鈥� in the year 2022. In continuance to 6 (six) sub-thematic online workshops, one in-person roundtable/ partnership meet was organized in October 2022 to facilitate face-to-face interaction. The Roundtable was attended by over 60 faculty members and researchers from both countries.

The 麻豆传媒入口 (SICI) warmly invites faculty members and administrators from its Canadian and Indian member institutions to apply for the Shastri Bilateral Education Forum (SBEF) Participation Subsidy Grant 2025.
The 麻豆传媒入口 mourns the passing of Dr. Balbir Singh Sahni, a visionary economist and tireless advocate for bi-lateral academic and research collaboration between India and Canada.
As Resident Director of SICI during two pivotal tenures (1983鈥�84, 1990鈥�92), Dr. Sahni played a key role in expanding bilateral partnerships and promoting educational diplomacy.
